On the same theme of “Country Living of 50 years ago”, Hunta Museum has some interesting displays showing items used in the home, and  stores of the early 1900’s.

In one section, a full dining room has been reconstructed, as it would have appeared using actual period furnishings, tableware and crockery.

These are only two of the many sectional displays, dedicated to this interesting era in Canadian History.  Every child, or child at heart, would marvel at Jerry’s collection of old toys, such as bikes, dolls and spinning tops.

The quaint bedroom displays, an old bed and dresser, sewing machine, and other artefacts, plus an entire doctor’s office, typical of a frontier town can be viewed in this large well laid out area of Hunta Museum.
